They have to tell the same story. A fast site with the wrong pin, or a company page at the old address, still loses the call.
I point the domain you already own at the new site and preserve the addresses people and search engines already use. Cal West is the completed version of that move: calwestgen.com serves the site I built. Patriot is built for the same handoff, and the new site is already public at patriotwebsite.netlify.app.
I restructure the listing so the name, address, phone, hours, category, and website match the site. A wrong pin, or a profile Google will not show for the city you work in, is a lost job. Cal West’s profile is public and linked from the homepage.
I renovate the company page so it reads like the contractor you are: the right name, the current location, and a path back to the website. Estimators and owners look there when the site is not enough.
